Every member of the ALO surgical team is fluent in English. Surgical consent, anesthesia consultation, post-op instructions, and family conversations happen in English by default — or Spanish if you prefer. Some team members also speak French, Portuguese, German, and Italian. The coordinator team includes native bilingual English/Spanish speakers. Translators can be arranged for other languages on request — common requests have been Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Russian, and Tagalog.

For Tijuana destination, international patients fly into San Diego (SAN) — usually with a US connection (LAX, JFK, SFO, ORD, DFW depending on origin). An ALO driver waits at SAN arrivals holding a sign with your name. The driver speaks English, helps with luggage, and drives you 30 minutes south on I-5 to the San Ysidro border crossing. ALO handles all border paperwork (you just need your passport — no Mexican visa required for most countries). You're at our hospital-adjacent Tijuana hotel within an hour of landing at SAN.
