Dr. Javier Orozco graduated in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, then completed his specialty in General Surgery and Laparoscopy at Hospital Christus Muguerza de Alta Especialidad in Monterrey, NL — one of Mexico's most respected surgical training programs.
His commitment to patient safety and excellence is reflected in a long list of advanced trainings: Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Training in Laparoscopic Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery, training with the Spain Council of Metabolic and Obesity Disease, and specialized coursework in the management of urgencies and complications in bariatric surgery.
Dr. Orozco is Board Certified by the Mexican Council of General Surgery (CMCG) and is also Da Vinci Robotic Surgery Certified by Intuitive Surgical — qualifying him to perform robotic-assisted bariatric procedures using the most advanced minimally invasive system available worldwide.
